The Sunday Brunch is one of the most festive meals I have had in many years. The staff is very accommodating, serves with a smile and the food is flavorful. What else could you ask for!

The food was so good I went back the next day for more! The first time I had the chicken Biriyani and chicken tikka and samosas, they were all great! The next day I tried the chicken korma, it was gross and I couldn't eat it! It was a big pot of grease, the samosas were still great though! The grub hub service was very efficient.

Try this place if you want to know how kebabs really need to be! Given the place looks sketchy and lacks ambience, but if you can look beyond this, you will not be disappointed.
The place serves Mughlai food and has a good blend of Indo-Pakistani non-vegetarian cuisine. I always try their kebabs which simply melt in your mouth. Their naans are made fresh and big and 1-1 1/2 should fill you up.
The price for their dishes are reasonable, including their buffet. I will warn you that their dishes tend to be rich, so do try to separate out the oil before you dip in your breads. This is something that I find in most of the mughlai dishes.
They also serve vegetarian dishes, but i will not recommend those. This is not the place if you are looking for something less sinful.
    Deserts are ok, nothing great.
They also have a banquet hall at the back where they host parties.
I will say this- they have the best kebabs in North Texas IMO.

Food is great. Spice level is high, unless you tell them. They need to improve interrior design and ambience.

Nice place and tasty food. Takes a little time for them to prepare food but I would rather eat wait a bit and eat fresh.

I have been to so many restaurants in DFW area but this the best by far. It is worth the long drive. Chef Nasir does an incredible job of making fresh food. Bihari kebab is just perfect. Korma is so smooth and flavorful. You can taste the fresh spices. As soon as you enter the restaurant you can smell the aroma of kebab. Manager Iram is very polite and amazing at taking care of the customers. The waitress took really good care of us. I wish all the best to this restaurant. I hope they open multiple chains of the restaurants in DFW area.

Amazing food! When you walk in the doors the appearance is a tad drab, but the food makes up for it immediately. The hostess was fast and friendly, definitely would recommend.. and definitely will be back!

The best restaurant in Irving. The food from clay pot is extremely delicious. kudos to their cook, hussain, he makes really tasty chicken tikka and chicken bihari. Chicken bihari is like a signature dish. we love it. The staff is very friendly and nice. We always had great time during every single visit.

Great food, amazing service, and great place to host an event in their banquet hall! You won’t find service like this at any other South Asian Restaurant! Chicken 65 is delightful!

Best kaboob in texas specialy malai boti ???

The sumptuous aroma wafting from the kitchen was the first sign that this place has legit Pakistani food. We ordered nihari, beef seekh kabab and chicken boti to go. We weren't disappointed. The kababs were perfect, not falling apart but not too hard either. The boti wasn't dry, it has just the right level of masala. The naans and paratha were as authentic as you get them in Pakistan. And we saved the best for last. The nihari was excellent: succulent pieces of tender meat, gravy with just the right amount of oil and spice level. Overall some of the best Pakistani BBQ and nihari I've had outside Pakistan (and I've lived in Dubai!). The host Iram was very friendly and the staff gave us a complimentary paratha as well! Definitely recommend it if you're in Irving

Delicious food, specially Biryani, Goat Qorma, Chicken karahi and bbq items, super soft Naans.
    Amazing Kheer.
    It was superb experience.
    Buffet only $8.99 on weekedays.
    Love it all.
    I'll be back very soon.

Best chicken Bihari kebob anywhere in the world I have eaten! Tawa paratha is excellent! White lussi is super! Qeema and curry items like Nihari and Karahi are average. They need to use mota Qeema and not so fine one and keep Qeema on the dry side and not so watery. Still can’t beat Almarkaz in my opinion, with exception of chicken Bihari. Service quality is acceptable.

Without a doubt, best Indian/Pakistani restaurant in town. I've tried several other places in near by cities, but the taste does not compare. Taste is authentic and consistently good. I have gone at least 5 times in the last year. The prices are pretty high and portions are small which is disappointing. However, I keep coming back because I would rather have a small portion of excellent food then average to below average Indian food at other places. I recommend the mutton karahi and naan especially.

Visited Mehran after all the buzz. Ordered chicken Bihari , chicken tikka , chicken masala( they made butter chicken though ) kadhi pakora. Service was slow but since only one person was handling the grill counter, we had to let go the delay. Food was exceptionally good especially all the grills (Not a fan of curries in restaurants) . Worth the drive all the way from East Plano!

For some really mouth watering cuisine, one can't go wrong with Mehran. Their paya curry is superb. Excellent customer service, and they keep plying you with choice items till you say no more

Delicious food. Never had Chicken Bihari like this before. It just melted in my mouth. Also like their Karahi and other curry items. Staff is friendly and owner is always there with a smile. They have a big Banquet hall as well.

Great Food (Nihari & Chicken tikka Masala)

Loved the taste of Kababs here
    Will surely visit again
Just as a suggestion to the owner they should do the buffet often like 2 or 3 times a week
    Thanks

Decided to eat at Mehran today and I think we made a right decision to have a dinner there. From the time we enter the restaurant and till we exit out everything was perfect. We order mutton biryani, karahi ghosht, and was recommended to order bihari it was mouth watering just wished it was cooked little more, but no doubt the owner took care of it at the end for that I will surely go back to dine in again and will recommend all my Friends and family. Keep up the good work.

Thank you to the staff and ownership of Mehran... After a horrendous day of dealing with police and nonsense and trying to get my truck out of the pound it was a welcome experience all around! Much love for New Orleans Louisiana and best of luck in your business!

Few days ago we went to Mehran Resturant in Irving and really enjoyed their delicious buffet. The place was clean with improved ambiance and great customer service. Their Sunday buffet included - halwa puri, cholay, aloo, payay, chicken biryani, chicken kadai, chicken tikka, crispy naan, Haleem, chicken chili, salad, Kheer, and chai. Sunday buffet price was $12.99. Sorry no pics, they were busy. Everything tasted authentic and they served fresh hot puris and naans on the table. Their manager, Irum Rahi was such a pleasure to talk to. She is very friendly, professional, and open to ideas to take her restaurant up to the next level. I wish them the best. In the past, I have also tasted their nihari, chicken boti and Bihari Kababs and they were all excellent. Do try them out if you are in the area, it's a hidden gem!! -- at Mehran Restaurant and Catering.

We have been missing authentic nihari for so long and we came across mehran! The nihari is delicious- probably the best we've had in dallas. The portions are decent too with plenty of meat compared to other restaurants. It's fresh, hot, and has just the right amount of spice!

Clean and quiet.....just as I preferred....excellent food.....no doubt with ???? music on the background....very rejuvenating.

Has always Enjoyed everything from all kababs to Nihari/Paya at the buffet "hot and there was plenty of everything" and enjoyed the dessert as well. Staff is very friendly, active and took good care. All the good reviews that I have read about this restaurant are true. Excellent customer service and great taste that you cannot resist. The food is amazing and open kitchen makes the experience even better by being able to see the preparation of fresh Delicious meals!

Authentic Pakistani Restaurant. Excellent food. They make everything from scratch. I have tried their Nihari, Bihari Boti, Chicken Tikkas, Biryani, and also their Sunday Buffet. If you are someone who is used to the Americanized version of Indian/Pakistani food, this is a place to check out but I must warn you, it is AUTHENTIC and that means some dishes maybe spicy for you. Start with Potato Samosas, and Biryani. Also their BBQ is good. If you are a vegetarian they have quite a few sections in the menu for vegetarians. They also grind their own spices and even make their own homemade yogurt. They are a new restaurant and still growing and I am very excited that we finally have a GOOD authentic Pakistani restaurant. We travel from Fort Worth almost every weekend to eat there. If you happen to attend Sunday buffet, look for Halwa Poori (traditional Pakistani breakfast) and Paya (bone marrow curry, a Pakistani delicacy). Owner has excellent customer service skills and is always open for suggestions. I requested her to add a few other items to the menu and she actually added one thing (Haleem) for buffet on special days. I wish them all the best!

We went into this restaurant because it was near the hotel where we were staying. The decor is very basic but we were greeted and shown a table. The waitress was helpful with selecting some dishes. We had chicken masala, chicken Briyani, somosas, and some of the best garlic naan we have ever had. Everything was served hot and was more food then we could eat. Everything was very tasty. The whole experience was a pleasant surprise. If I stayed in the neighborhood I would eat here again!!!

This place seems to be new, thus so few reviews. It is possible that the 1 review posted after I had lunch today was added because I mentioned to them there were no Google reviews. I had an excellent curry with garlic naan. Very authentic, down to all the flavoring seeds (tamarind?) I had to spit out. However, for lunch by myself I spent more than dinner with my wife at the Somali place a few doors down. If dinner prices are the same, then they would be good. They are working on the decor. If decor is important to you, sit towards the back.
