Loved the taste of Kababs here
    Will surely visit again
Just as a suggestion to the owner they should do the buffet often like 2 or 3 times a week
    Thanks

Decided to eat at Mehran today and I think we made a right decision to have a dinner there. From the time we enter the restaurant and till we exit out everything was perfect. We order mutton biryani, karahi ghosht, and was recommended to order bihari it was mouth watering just wished it was cooked little more, but no doubt the owner took care of it at the end for that I will surely go back to dine in again and will recommend all my Friends and family. Keep up the good work.

Thank you to the staff and ownership of Mehran... After a horrendous day of dealing with police and nonsense and trying to get my truck out of the pound it was a welcome experience all around! Much love for New Orleans Louisiana and best of luck in your business!

The sumptuous aroma wafting from the kitchen was the first sign that this place has legit Pakistani food. We ordered nihari, beef seekh kabab and chicken boti to go. We weren't disappointed. The kababs were perfect, not falling apart but not too hard either. The boti wasn't dry, it has just the right level of masala. The naans and paratha were as authentic as you get them in Pakistan. And we saved the best for last. The nihari was excellent: succulent pieces of tender meat, gravy with just the right amount of oil and spice level. Overall some of the best Pakistani BBQ and nihari I've had outside Pakistan (and I've lived in Dubai!). The host Iram was very friendly and the staff gave us a complimentary paratha as well! Definitely recommend it if you're in Irving.
P.S. it's all halal in case you were wondering :)

Few days ago we went to Mehran Resturant in Irving and really enjoyed their delicious buffet. The place was clean with improved ambiance and great customer service. Their Sunday buffet included - halwa puri, cholay, aloo, payay, chicken biryani, chicken kadai, chicken tikka, crispy naan, Haleem, chicken chili, salad, Kheer, and chai. Sunday buffet price was $12.99. Sorry no pics, they were busy. Everything tasted authentic and they served fresh hot puris and naans on the table. Their manager, Irum Rahi was such a pleasure to talk to. She is very friendly, professional, and open to ideas to take her restaurant up to the next level. I wish them the best. In the past, I have also tasted their nihari, chicken boti and Bihari Kababs and they were all excellent. Do try them out if you are in the area, it's a hidden gem!! -- at Mehran Restaurant and Catering.

We have been missing authentic nihari for so long and we came across mehran! The nihari is delicious- probably the best we've had in dallas. The portions are decent too with plenty of meat compared to other restaurants. It's fresh, hot, and has just the right amount of spice!

Staff is very friendly, active and took good care. All the good reviews that I have read about this restaurant are true. Excellent customer service and great taste that you cannot resist. Authentic Pakistani Restaurant. Excellent food. They make everything from scratch. I have tried their Nihari, Bihari Boti, Chicken Tikkas, Biryani, and also their Sunday Buffet. If you are someone who is used to the Americanized version of Indian/Pakistani food, this is a place to check out but I must warn you, it is AUTHENTIC and that means some dishes maybe spicy for you. Start with Potato Samosas, and Biryani. Also their BBQ is good. If you are a vegetarian they have quite a few sections in the menu for vegetarians. They also grind their own spices and even make their own homemade yogurt. They are a new restaurant and still growing and I am very excited that we finally have a GOOD authentic Pakistani restaurant. We travel from Fort Worth almost every weekend to eat there. If you happen to attend Sunday buffet, look for Halwa Poori (traditional Pakistani breakfast) and Paya (bone marrow curry, a Pakistani delicacy). Owner has excellent customer service skills and is always open for suggestions. I requested her to add a few other items to the menu and she actually added one thing (Haleem) for buffet on special days. I wish them all the best!

We went into this restaurant because it was near the hotel where we were staying. The decor is very basic but we were greeted and shown a table. The waitress was helpful with selecting some dishes. We had chicken masala, chicken Briyani, somosas, and some of the best garlic naan we have ever had. Everything was served hot and was more food then we could eat. Everything was very tasty. The whole experience was a pleasant surprise. If I stayed in the neighborhood I would eat here again!!!

This place seems to be new, thus so few reviews. It is possible that the 1 review posted after I had lunch today was added because I mentioned to them there were no Google reviews. I had an excellent curry with garlic naan. Very authentic, down to all the flavoring seeds (tamarind?) I had to spit out. However, for lunch by myself I spent more than dinner with my wife at the Somali place a few doors down. If dinner prices are the same, then they would be good. They are working on the decor. If decor is important to you, sit towards the back.
